Skyline Style

Don’t you just love a good lazy weekend? I really didn’t do much last weekend, other than catch up on some of my favorite TV Shows (White Collar & Cheasapeake Shores) they are sooo addicting. The one thing I did do outside of my apartment was grab some dinner Saturday night and I decided to go┬ácasual + some over the knee boots…such a great combo for this Skyline Style čÖé

There is nothing like a soft tee-shirt that’s cuter than kittens, that’s how I feel about this tee from┬áAnthropologie. I paired it with my favorite┬áParker Smith Jeans and threw on my new boots to hit the town, but couldn’t go without a picture for the ‘gram, right?! A lot of you have asked me on Instagram (@lexipjohnson) how I go about styling my outfits. If you want the honest answer, I go for what I feel best in that day. I wanted my shirt to be the focus of my outfit Saturday, so that’s why I chose to have pants and boots of similar shades, but still different (grey & black) for contrast.

The best advice I can provide is to style your outfits ahead of time, but let’s be real, who has time for that sh*t every day? I know I don’t! I am on Pinterest regularly searching for style inspiration (and closet organization tips) and that’s where I find most of my ideas for my fashion vision board.
